We used this chalkboard in a several shots to announce where L. will be attending college.  

This is one of my favorites.

It's great to be young and have so much of life ahead of you--so much possibility.

D. recently graduated from High School and at the end of the summer he's off to college.

For the shoot I wanted to play up the feeling of someone going on an old-time journey. 

D. is big into retro and Campbell's monomyth so that suited him just fine.

Rain and Mushrooms

My youngest was so proud when she found this mushroom in our backyard.  Never mind that it was the very mushroom that I had planned on taking a picture of "in situ".  I think I like these results just as well.  Don't worry, we didn't eat the mushroom--we're not that adventurous.
